ASLO; Anti Streptolizin O; ASO titresi;
Kanda A gurubu beta hemolitik streptokok ( beta mikrobu ) karşı antikor varlığını araştıran laboratuar testidir. Anti Streptolizin O antikoru beta enfeksiyonlarından sonra oluşan bir antikordur. Kanda tespit edilmesi geçirilmiş bir beta enfeksiyonunu gösterir. Testin en az 6 saat açlık ile yapılması gerekir.
ASO neyi gösterir?
ASO geçirilmiş beta enfeksiyonunun göstergesidir. Beta enfeksiyonu ;
• Bakteriyel endokardit,
• Glomerülonefrit,
• Romatizmal ateş,
• Kızıl,
• Streptokoksik anjin
Etkeni olduğundan tehlikeli bir enfeksiyon hastalığıdır ve erken dönemde yakalanıp tedavisi gerekir. A gurubu beta hemolitik streptokok enfeksiyonlarından haftalar aylar sonra dahi kanda ASO seviyesi yüksek bulunur.
ASO için normal değer:
Erişkin: < 200 ünite
Çocuk: <300 ünite
ASO seviyesini yükselten sebepler:
• Beta Streptokok enfeksiyonu,
• Bakteriyel endokardit,
• Post streptokokal glomerulonefrit,
• Romatizmal ateş,
• Kızıl.
